Serial Number: DK716

Tech Notes: This 1997/330s plays well with low action. The frets are tall and show no wear. This version is a 1997/330S model and proven by the single f-hole as apposed to the normal "cat's eye" slash. This feature was specifically requested by the English company Rose, Morris & Co.. The "1997" was the model code given by the english company instead of Rickenbacker's "330" as well and were sold from 1964 to 1969. However, we believe this to be a 330S due to the lack of a tremolo as was standard for the models sold by Rose Morris. Instead, this guitar was likely sold directly to a customer rather than through Rose Morris. All specs aside for the tailpiece are exactly the same as a Rose Morris model 1997. The guitar is being dated to 1964 based on the serial number and pot codes making this a very early example.
